New Delhi, Sept. 27 -- A special postal cover, commemorating 'Sashtipoorthi' of Shyam Lal College, was officially released by India Post on Friday at a gracious function held at Krishna Nagar Post Office today.
The event was organized by India Post and was attended by Debi Prasad Dash, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Delhi East Division, Delhi, Prof. R.P. Tulsian, Governing Body Member of the Shyam Lal College, Prof. Rabi Narayan Kar-Principal, Shyam Lal College and other distinguished guests.
The release function was presided over by Prof. Rabi Narayan Kar and Debi Prasad Dash who unveiled the cover along with a commemorative cancellation that marks the historical importance of the occasion.
