Private Individuals, Jan. 8 -- The India Post has invited proposals from private individuals and courier service providers to operate postal franchise outlets in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar region, as part of its initiative to expand business operations and improve public access to postal services.

According to an official notice issued by the department, the franchise scheme authorises selected franchise holders to book all categories of mail items on behalf of India Post. In return, franchise operators will be eligible for an attractive commission structure on a daily and monthly basis.
