Hyderabad, July 8 -- Telangana Postal Circle today rolled out the next generation Advanced Postal Technology (APT) application, in four Head Post Offices (HOs), 105 Sub Post Offices (SOs) and 453 Branch Post Offices (BOs) in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and parts of Medchal-Malkajgiri districts.
The advanced new software was also rolled out at 17 Mail offices and 23 administrative offices, as a pilot project in the state.
The complete rollout of remaining 32 HOs, 685 SOs and 4986 Branch Post Offices across the Telangana Circle will be done on July 22, 2025.
In this connection, Dr PVS Reddy, Postmaster General, Telangana circle, inaugurated IT 2.0 new software at Charminar Head office in the city today.
