New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- India captain Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bat first against the West Indies in the second Test of the series being played at Arun Jaitley Stadium here today.

"We will bat first, the wicket looks good to bat on Day 1," Gill said at the toss. "Just want to stay consistent and repeat the performance from the previous match. Not much has changed - I'm the same person, with more responsibility, and I love it," he added. India are fielding an unchanged XI from the previous Test.
