Bengaluru, July 27 -- In a significant step to bolster India's cyber resilience, the National Cyber Security Research Council (NCSRC) was formally launched here late yesterday evening.

Aimed at safeguarding the nation's digital infrastructure, the Council will act as a strategic hub for advanced research, technology development, and inter-agency collaboration in cybersecurity.

Launched amid growing cyber threats to India's public, private, and defense networks, the NCSRC will work closely with state and central government bodies to conduct threat assessments, identify system vulnerabilities, and execute protective strategies.
