New Delhi, July 25 -- S.Krishnan (Secretary, MeitY) highlighted that India is open to sharing the AI (artificial intelligence) models with the Global South.

He was speaking at FICCI's Bhasantara Conference, 2025.

'Global South' refers to the countries located in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. These countries are often considered as developing or less developed. The event was intended to drive collaboration between industry and academia to accelerate the pace of technology adoption in India.

Krishnan also stressed the diversity of India's Language Technology Ecosystem by retorting in an exclamatory way, "If you can do it in India, you can do it practically anywhere else in the World."
