Shillong, Nov. 21 -- India is the happiest place than Finland's capital Helsinki, said award-winning and internationally bestselling author of books, Francesc Miralless at the 5th Shillong Literary Festival here in Meghalaya today.
"India a very interesting place. The people are alive here in Shillong (state capital of Meghalaya). So, I would say Shillong is happier than Helsinki," Miralles, author of non-fiction, Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life, observed.
"I don't believe in this happiness index (reports) because they say, for instance, that Finland is the happiest country. I find more happy people in India than Finland," he further noted.
