New Delhi, Nov. 7 -- India is in regular touch with the Sudanese government to secure the release of an Indian national from Odisha, who is in the custody of a Sudanese militia there, the MEA said today.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at the briefing today:"We have ascertained that an Indian national in Sudan is in the custody of the RSF. As you know, fighting is ongoing in the Al-Fashir area.
"We are in continuous contact with the Sudanese government and the international organizations present there so that any Indian national held in custody can be safely released and we can ensure their security."According to reports, an Indian national from Odisha, identified as Adarsh Behera, is in the custody of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)...
