Srinagar, May 9 -- As multiple attacks on Indian territory by Pakistan Armed Forces during the last night were "effectively repulsed and a befitting reply was given," a woman was killed and three others injured in cross-border shelling in the Uri sector of Baramulla district.

On the intervening night of Thursday and Friday Pakistan Armed Forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions along entire Western Border.

Indian Army said Pak troops also resorted to numerous cease fire violations (CFVs) along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

"The drone attacks were effectively repulsed and befitting reply was given to the CFVs," Army ADGPI said in post on X
