Srinagar, June 12 -- Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday said that India successfully thwarted nearly two lakh cyber attacks targeting its power infrastructure during the recent Indo-Pak conflict.

Addressing a press conference marking the completion of 11 years of the Narendra Modi government, Khattar said, "Cyber security is now the biggest threat facing not only India but the entire world."

He said that there was growing frequency of cyber attacks and cyber crimes.

"A significant amount of work has been done in this domain. Today, our cyber security systems are robust enough to counter such threats effectively," he said
