India is standing beside the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and Belarus. It's a great achievement for India, which shows its economic progress behind every class and section despite its large size and diverse traditions.

Moreover, India's score in the Gini Index is far better than China's 35.7 and the United States' 41.8. The country falls in a "moderately low" inequality category as the Gini index of India is 25.5.
