New Delhi, March 27 -- India on Friday reassured markets and stakeholders by affirming that it is closely tracking the volatile situation around the Strait of Hormuz and is in active coordination with key countries to safeguard uninterrupted energy supplies, even as it underscored that its sourcing strategy remains firmly anchored in the needs of 1.4 billion people, market realities and the evolving global situation.
Addressing the weekly media briefing, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that India is in touch with all concerned countries for safe transit of its ships to meet energy requirements.
