New Delhi/Johannesburg, Nov. 23 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Canadian counterpart Mark Carney on Sunday agreed to further advance bilateral relations across crucial sectors, including trade, investment, technology and innovation.

The two leaders met on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Johanesburg, with Modi noting "the significant momentum" on bilateral ties since their last meeting during the G7 Summit hosted by Canada in June.
