New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- India has set a Guinness World Record with more than 2.5 lakh AI Responsibility Pledges in 24 hours, stated Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, announcing the achievement at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam.

The record was achieved between February 16 and 17, with a total of 2,50,946 valid pledges verified by Guinness World Records adjudicator Pravin Patel.

The AI Responsibility Pledge campaign, launched under the IndiaAI Mission in collaboration with Intel India, is aimed to mobilise citizens to commit to ethical, inclusive, and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.
