Cannes, May 20 -- In a rare display of high-level political and cultural cooperation, India and Bangladesh have joined hands at the ongoing Cannes film festival to unveil a joint cinematic project on the life of Bangladesh's Father of the Nation, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
'Mujib: The Making of the Nation' directed by celebrated filmmaker Shyam Benegal is the first film to be made under a co-production agreement signed between the two South Asian neighbours two years ago.
