Bengaluru, Nov. 6 -- India is aiming at nothing less than a $30-35 trillion economy over the next two decades, with manufacturing and innovation at its core, industrialist Baba Kalyani said on Thursday.
Speaking at the seventh edition of the India Manufacturing Show (IMS 2025) in Bengaluru, the Bharat Forge Chairman said the country's economic ambitions go far beyond the $5 trillion milestone and chart a bold course toward global industrial leadership.
"India aspires to grow at a double-digit economic trajectory, with eight times GDP growth and a 15-fold rise in manufacturing. It's a massive transformation, but entirely achievable if we evolve from being an innovation-led economy to a product nation," Kalyani said.
