Tokyo/New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- India and Japan today strongly condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack and called for its perpetrators to be brought to justice without delay. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba also expressed serious concern over the situation in the East and South China Seas.
The joint statement, titled 'Partnership for Security and Prosperity of our Next Generation', issued after the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit held between the two sides today, also reiterated their commitment to advancing cooperation among like-minded countries through multilateral frameworks such as the Quad.
