New Delhi, Feb. 21 -- The Ministry of Steel and the Ministry of Mines and Energy of the Federal Republic of Brazil on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation in the field of mining and minerals required for the steel sector, said an official statement.
The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
The MoU provides an institutional framework to strengthen bilateral cooperation across the steel value chain. It focuses on promoting the reliable and sustainable development of key raw materials required for steel production.
