New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- India and Tanzania have reaffirmed their growing defence partnership at the fourth edition of the Joint Defence Cooperation Committee (JDCC) meeting held in Zanzibar from February 2-3.

During the talks, both sides reviewed the progress of ongoing defence engagements and explored new avenues for cooperation spanning military training, service-to-service exchanges, maritime security, and collaboration in the defence industry.

The two sides also explored new avenues such as counter-terrorism, peacekeeping training, and capacity building in niche areas including Electronic Warfare (EW), Cyber, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a view to further strengthening bilateral defence ties.
