New Delhi, Sept. 26 -- India and Russia today agreed to further increase bilateral trade and strengthencooperation in agriculture sector.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev met Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here and both held ''fruitful discussions'' on a broad range of issues of mutual interest with particular emphasis on deepening bilateral trade and cooperation in the agriculture sector, an official spokesman said here.

Key areas of dialogue included enhancing agricultural trade between the two countries, notably through the expansion of India's exports of agriculture products.
