New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- India and Fiji today reaffirmed commitment to strengthening bilateral Defence and maritime security cooperation through new initiatives in view of their shared interests in advancing regional peace, stability and prosperity.
A Joint Statement issued here after delegation-level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his visiting Fiji counterpart Sitiveni Rabuka said the two leaders emphasized the significant potential for collaboration on addressing current and emerging challenges, particularly in the maritime, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR), and technology sectors.
