Increasing GST on raw materials is the truth behind the BJP's ''GST scam'': Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, Sept. 26 -- Amidst the government's ongoing dialogue with traders following the GST reforms, Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav has attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) over "fake" GST sops.

Akhilesh Yadav said the so called reforms is just an eye wash as it is just increasing GST on raw materials while reducing it on finished goods.

Posting on his social media account, 'X' on Friday, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP reduced GST on finished goods for display but increased GST on the raw materials used to make those goods. "This is the truth behind the BJP's GST scam" he charged.
