Inaugural Special train with 216 delegation begins its journey from Kanniyakumari for KTS

Chennai, Nov. 29 -- The inaugural Special train with 216 delegation begins its journeyfrom Kanniyakumari on Saturday for the Kashi Tamil Sangagam (KTS) 4-0.

The Kashi Tamil Sangamam, an initiative celebrating the civilisational links and timelessbonds between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, enters its fourth edition from December 2-15 inVaranasi.

The first train of KTS 4.0 began its journey from Kanyakumari today with 45 delegates.

They will be joined by 86 delegates at Tiruchirappalli and 87 from Chennai, bringing thetotal in this first batch to 216 delegates.

The group comprises 50 Tamil literary experts, 54 cultural scholars, in addition to students,teachers, artisans, classical singers, and instructors and students of spiritual texts.
