Hyderabad, Aug. 19 -- Heralding a major milestone in India's space journey and in a first ever effort never tried by any spare faring nations in the world, ISRO is working developing a 40-storeyed launch vehicle that would ferry 75,000 kg satellites into a Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

It was a giant leap with India taking a major lead in such a development, that could make other space faring nations to take note of this historic development.

Addressing the convocation of Osmania University, ISRO Chairman Dr V Narayanan made this milestone announcement on working on developing a 40-storeyeed (as tall as a high rise building) rocket that could ferry 75,000-kg rocket.
