Chandigarh/Bathinda, July 24 -- Four police officers were celebrated for their daring rescue of 11 individuals, including children, from a car that plunged into the Sirhind Canal near Behman Bridge. The operation showcased extraordinary teamwork between the police and local residents, thwarting a potential catastrophe.

A nearby Police Control Room (PCR) team, comprising Assistant Sub-Inspectors Rajinder Singh and Narinder Singh, Constable Jaswant Singh, and Woman Constable Harpal Kaur, acted with lightning speed. With vital assistance from the community, they successfully extracted all passengers from the submerged vehicle.
