Chennai, Sept. 10 -- The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) today said it has scored a century of space technology transfers.

The 100th Technology Transfer Agreement (ToT) was signed between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) and IN-SPACe with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the production of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV).

Aimed at advancing India's capabilities in space technology and commercial activities, the agreement is a formative step towards democratising the SSLV space, IN-SPACe said.

The entire process of technology transfer is targeted to be completed within 24 months from the date of agreement signing.
