New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- In a significant boost to India's aviation and infrastructure sector, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) today, a much-awaited project aiming to improve regional connectivity across Maharashtra and beyond.

Later, the Prime Minister will inaugurate Phase 2B of Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line), connecting Acharya Atre Chowk to Cuffe Parade, at an estimated cost of Rs 12,200 crore.
