Lucknow, Aug. 26 -- The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has announced the transfer of five Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, hence bringing significant changes to key administrative and law enforcement positions in the state.
In a notable move, MK Bashal, who has been serving as the Director General (DG) of Power Corporation for a long time, has been appointed as the new DG of Home Guards. The position had been lying vacant since the retirement of BK Maurya.
