Srinagar, Feb. 19 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday termed the India-US trade arrangement "anti-farmer," warning that it would severely impact apple growers and dry fruit producers in hill states, particularly Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Addressing a joint press conference in Srinagar alongside Jammu & Kashmir Congress president Tariq Karra, Sukhu said the agreement would hurt small farmers and horticulture-dependent economies.
