Patna, June 28 -- Bihar created history on Saturday as a large number of electorate exercised their franchise through their mobile app during bye elections for district boards across the state.
State election officer of Bihar Deepak Prasad said here that a history was created in the state as for the first time in the country, a large number of electorate exercised their franchise during bye-elections in 42 district boards. Voting percentage among those who exercised their franchise from mobile app was 70.20 while those who cast their votes at polling both were only 54 percent,
