Chennai, Feb. 28 -- Continuing his strong objections to alleged attempts by the Centre to impose Hindi in the State, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Friday asserted that in the age of AI, forcing any language as third language in schools was unnecessary and said true progress lies in innovation and not linguistic imposition.
Mr Stalin students should not be burdened with extra languages as advanced translation technology already removes language barriers instantly.
They should focus on their mother tongue and English while gaining expertise in science and
technology and that they could learn any language later, if needed.
