Chennai, Jan. 30 -- In an unique initiative, the Indian Maritime University (IMU) and the
Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM-Chennai)
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost Cruise Tourism and hospitality
training on Thursday evening.
The MoU was aimed at promoting skill development and training for crew and hospitality
services on board the cruise ships.
The agreement marks a significant step towards creating a skilled workforce to meet the
growing demand for trained manpower in the national and international cruise industry.
