New Delhi, Nov. 25 -- The implementation of new labour codes will empower both workers and enterprises to build a workforce that is productive, protective and aligned with the evolving world of work, said the State Bank of India (SBI) in a report released here on Tuesday.
On Nov 21, the Government implemented four-comprehensive labour codes, which were enacted by Parliament in 2019 and 2020. These codes are: (i) Code on wages 2019, (ii) Industrial Relations Code 2020, (iii) Code on Social Security 2020, (iv) Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code 2020.
