New Delhi, Dec. 18 -- The success of India's landmark labour reforms will ultimately depend on how effectively the four labour codes are implemented on the ground rather than on legislative intent alone, Justice Manmohan of Supreme Court said on Thursday.

Justice Manmohan was delivering the keynote address at 'Decoding the Codes - Conference on Four Labour Codes', a one-day national conference jointly organised by the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here.

The conference brought together members of the judiciary, senior government officials, legal experts and industry leaders to deliberate on the transition to India's new labour law regime.
