Imphal, Aug. 22 -- With rapid urbanization threatening to overwhelm India's northeastern cities, the Institution of Engineers (India), Manipur State Centre, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Climate Change and the Department of Municipal Administration, Housing and Urban Development (MAHUD), Government of Manipur, has launched a two-day national seminar on "Solid Waste Management: Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable Future".
The event, held under the aegis of the Environmental Engineering Division Board (ENDB), IEI, opened on Friday at the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Porompat, Imphal East.
