Imphal, Aug. 9 -- The Imphal Peace Museum today commemorated its 6th Anniversary with a solemn observance of Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day, reaffirming its commitment to peace, remembrance, and reconciliation.
The event was held at the museum premises and organized in collaboration with the Nippon Foundation, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, and the Manipur Tourism Forum.
The ceremony was graced by His Excellency Ono Keiichi, Ambassador of Japan to India, as the Chief Guest.
Dr. Puneet Kumar Goel, Chief Secretary of the Government of Manipur, and Prof. W. Chandbabu Singh, Vice Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University, were present as Guests of Honour.
The gathering also included dignitaries from Japan and India.
