Bhubaneswar, Oct. 27 -- With the deep depression intensifying into a cyclonic storm Montha, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) today announced the cancelled as many as 32 passenger trains besides diverting and short terminating several coaching trains operating in the Waltair region and connected routes, said ECoR officials.
These measures are purely precautionary, based on alerts and forecasts issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), they said.
The cancelled trains, according to ECoR, are 18515 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Night Express leaving Visakhapatnam, 18516 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Night Express leaving Kirandul, 58501 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Passenger leaving Visakhapatnam, 58502 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger leaving Kirandul, ...
