Beirut, June 4 -- Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on Tuesday stressed Lebanon's commitment to staying on the reform track in a meeting with Ernesto Ramirez Rigo, head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to Lebanon, who reaffirmed the organization's support for Lebanon's reform process.

"The IMF stands ready to support Lebanon as it continues implementing crucial financial and economic reforms," Rigo said, according to the National News Agency, emphasizing the fund's ongoing commitment to the country's recovery.

The IMF mission is assessing Lebanon's financial and economic situation.

Rigo briefed Aoun on the results of recent meetings with key ministers and stakeholders, outlining several issues that require further review.
