Mumbai, May 28 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a spell of unsettled weather for Mumbai, with generally cloudy skies and moderate to heavy rainfall expected across the city and suburbs on Wednesday.
The IMD has further warned that scattered to fairly widespread rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, is likely to persist over Mumbai, Konkan, and Goa, as well as Madhya Maharashtra, from May 27 through June 2.
Isolated heavy to very heavy showers are forecast for parts of Konkan and the ghat areas, with the risk of extremely heavy rainfall at some locations.
