Shimla, Feb. 16 -- Himachal Pradesh witnessed an overcast sky on Sunday with light snowfall reported in isolated areas, particularly in the higher reaches of districts like Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, and parts of Chamba, Kangra, and Kullu.
The Meteorological Centre, Shimla, recorded traces of snowfall in places like Kalpa, Gondla, and Kufri, while the plains and lower hills remained dry but chilly.
The weather office said the minimum temperatures dropped by 1-2degC in some parts of the plains and low hills, with Una recording the lowest minimum temperature at -6.8degC. Meanwhile, the maximum temperatures remained above normal, with Una also recording the highest maximum temperature of 27.4degC.
