Bengaluru, April 11 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast continued rainfall activity across parts of Karnataka on Saturday, with a yellow alert issued for coastal districts, indicating the likelihood of moderate rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds in isolated areas.
According to weather updates cited in reports, coastal Karnataka is expected to witness intermittent showers accompanied by lightning activity, while interior regions may experience scattered rain and cloudy conditions during the day.
Authorities have advised fishermen and residents in vulnerable coastal zones to exercise caution in view of rough sea conditions and sudden weather changes.
