Mumbai, Sept. 25 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad districts for the coming weekend, forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places. The intensified rainfall is expected to significantly impact the metropolis during the ongoing festive season.
According to the weather office, rainfall activity will increase from tomorrow, with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds of 30-40 kilometers per hour at isolated locations. Temperatures tomorrow are expected to reach a maximum of 27 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius.
