Mumbai, May 11 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dry weather with cloudy skies for the city ahead, even as the neighbouring districts of Thane, Palghar, and Raigad may continue to experience light showers.

The receding showers in Mumbai will also spur a spike in temperatures, with the daytime temperatures expected to hover over 35 degrees after Tuesday.

The IMD has issued no alert for rainfall today, but residents will not get relief from the humidity.

Meanwhile yesterday's minimum temperature in Mumbai was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius.

Humidity was recorded at 77 per cent in the morning.
