Amaravati, Sept. 4 -- The low-pressure area over north Chhattisgarh and its neighbourhood moved slightly west-northwestwards and lay over north Chhattisgarh and adjoining East Madhya Pradesh at 8-30 AM today, the Meteorological Centre here said.
The associated cyclonic circulation extended up to 5.8 km above the mean sea level, tilting southwestwards with height. It is likely to move west-northwestwards across East Madhya Pradesh during the next 24 hours.
In its daily weather report, the Met Centre said the monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Jaisalmer, Kota, Narmadapuram, Seoni, Durg, the centre of the low-pressure area over north Chhattisgarh and adjoining East Madhya Pradesh, Chandbali, and thence east-southeastwards to...
