Nagpur, Dec. 18 -- Officials of Balbharati, the Maharashtra government's body responsible for producing and publishing textbooks for state board schools, on Wednesday conducted a raid at a printing press in Nagpur and seized thousands of illegally printed textbooks, an official said.
Balbharati prints textbooks for the state school curriculum every year and the official contract for the printing work has been awarded to Sohel Enterprises of Thane.
However, despite this, the textbooks were being illegally printed at Pratibha Printers, located in the MIDC area of Nagpur.
