New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- In the largest of its kind anti- drug operation in Madhya Pradesh by an agency, the officers of the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) unearthed a factory located in Thavalay village in Mhow, Indore district, and seized 43.820 kg high- quality MD/ Methamphetamine, along with more than 260 kg chemicals.

According to officials, the CBN team also recovered sophisticated and modern equipment used in the illegal manufacturing of the contraband. The total quantity of narcotics seized during the three-day operation amounted to 51.992 kg, according to an official statement. All recovered contraband and chemicals were seized under the provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985.
