Sangrur, Aug. 18 -- Acting on the directions of SSP Sartaj Singh Chahal, a joint team of police and civil administration, led by SP (D) Davinder Attari, demolished an illegal house constructed by drug smugglers at Ram Nagar Basti on Ubhawal Road. SP (D) Davinder Attari informed that seven NDPS Act cases have been registered against accused Jeet Singh alias Surjit Singh, a resident of Ram Nagar Basti, Sangrur, while five NDPS Act cases are also registered against his wife, Shindo.
