Shimla, Dec. 8 -- The illegal dumping along four-lane construction sites in Shimla district has gone completely unreported by field revenue officials, prompting Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap to issue sharp reprimands and stringent directions.
Speaking at a special review meeting on Sunday, Kashyap said, "Unreported debris dumping near habitations is endangering lives and property, and the failure of Patwaris and Kanungos to flag such violations reflects alarming negligence within the Revenue Department."The Deputy Commissioner directed all Patwaris to immediately conduct field inspections and report every instance of illegal dumping without delay.
