Pune, Oct. 1 -- The Pune Municipal Corporation's encroachment department, under police protection, has demolished illegal structures linked to gangster Bandu Andekar and his family, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Krushikesh Rawale.
The houses, tin sheds, and toilets illegally built by Andekar and his family in front of and around his residence were razed during the operation.
In total, encroachments spread over 1,500 sq. ft. were removed.
