Agartala, May 21 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday reiterated that the state government will take strict action against any illegal entry by Bangladeshi nationals or Rohingyas.
He emphasized that Tripura, which shares an 856-km-long international border with Bangladesh, will not tolerate unauthorized infiltration.
"If any Bangladeshi or Rohingya is found entering the state illegally, we will take legal action and push them back following due procedure," Dr Saha said, asserting the government's firm stance on border security.
